How can I find out about VIC events?
Most participants receive information in their e-mails. If you do not receive our e-mails, we invite you to subscribe - your e-mail will be added to receive news. We also post all information on our Facebook and Instagram pages: Veterinary Medicine Education Center, LVB website and VMF website. Our VMF family can also get acquainted with information from the information stands.
How do I access the webinar live?
To join the webinar, each registered participant receives a link to the email address provided during registration approximately 24 hours before the live broadcast, which will become active approximately 15 minutes before the webinar begins.
I registered for the webinar, but I haven't received the access link!
Firstly, sometimes it happens that a participant, when registering, enters their email address incorrectly, and therefore does not receive automatic registration confirmation and other information. If we notice an incorrect email address (because we receive an automatic refusal to send confirmation), then we correct it manually, because we see all participants in the registration system. Secondly, we also can make mistakes, then please call or write, everything is usually resolved quickly. Thirdly - participants registers with one of their emails, but waits for the link with a completely different one. Always remember which email address you used when registering! And another option - often a participant registers, but forgets to make a payment.
How to check if I'm registered or not?
For every VIC event you register you will receive an automatic confirmation of registration and a copy of your registration in your email. It is easy to find in the email search with the keywords: Registration, event name.
I registered for an event, where do I make the payment?
VIC details can always be easily found on each event poster, invoice, and also on our website www.vicinfo.lv in the Contacts section.
I would like to receive an invoice, how can I get one?
Please provide your invoice details when registering. The invoice will be sent to the email address you provided when registering!
I'm trying to connect to the live webinar, but I experience difficulties.
This situation can occur if your internet speed is insufficient or you are in a weak mobile data coverage area. Move your device closer to the internet source, turn off other open programs that consume the internet, find a place with better coverage and try again. Sometimes ZOOM asks to update the system, then follow the steps indicated. This may take several minutes, so it is usually recommended to connect to the webinar in time.
I will be busy during the live webinar, will it be possible to watch the recording?
Yes, all VIC webinars are recorded and access link to them is sent to all registered participants within 24 hours after each live broadcast.
I can't find the webinar recording in my email.
All recordings are sent to registered participants within 24 hours after the live broadcast. Recordings can be easily found in your email by entering the keywords: "Recording 03/03/2026" in the search section (indicating the word "Recording" and the precise date of the live broadcast). Sometimes, due to circumstances beyond our control, the recording ends up in your spam box. To avoid such situations as much as possible, we invite you to save our email vicpasts@gmail.com to your contacts, mark the recordings with a star when you receive them, and then you can easily find them in the marked emails section.
I participated in a webinar, will I receive a certificate for it?
If you have registered to receive a certificate, yes! All VIC events are registered with LVB as qualification improvement events. Sometimes we organise events where participation in the live broadcast is free of charge, for which a certificate is not issued. At such events, there is an opportunity to register to receive a certificate by making a participation fee. We always indicate information about obtaining a certificate in the event information!
When will I receive a certificate?
Each webinar recording has a specific viewing time after its completion. For those who participate in all live broadcasts of one webinar cycle or live seminar broadcasts, the certificate is sent within a month after the last live broadcast. For the rest, we check the views several times a month and then prepare certificates. The deadline for webinar viewing is always indicated in the event poster. For those who have somehow forgotten to watch one of the webinars, we send at least two reminder emails.
Please note - the certificate is issued only for the webinars/events attended. If a participant registers, makes a payment, but does not participate/watch one of the webinars within the specified period - the certificate for the unattended webinar is not issued, the participation fee is not refunded. And also reminder - to view the recordings, you must register with the same email address with which you initially registered for the training (to which you received automatic registration confirmation.)

I would like to appreciate the lecturers for the great training, how can I do that?
Nice! Please fill out the event evaluation questionnaires that we send to all participants after each event! The questionnaires are anonymous, we send them to the event lecturers in aggregate form!
